The article “Interfering HMGB3 release from cancer-associated fibroblasts by miR-200b represses chemoresistance and epithelial-mesenchymal transition of gastric cancer cells” (doi: 10.21037/jgo-22-723) (1), published in Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology, Vol. 13. No. 5 (October 2022), has been retracted at the request of all authors.W

Following a subsequent in-depth review and verification of the original data, the authors identified fundamental flaws in the key data and analytical processes of the study, which led to the unreliability of the main conclusions. To maintain the integrity and scientific rigor of the academic record and prevent misleading subsequent research, the authors have unanimously agreed to voluntarily retract this article.
